What this site stores

Two things, and only one of them needs your permission. No advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, and nothing shared with anyone who might sell it.

Your cookie choice

When you accept or reject on the banner, that answer is saved in your own browser so you are not asked again on every page. It holds nothing but the word 'granted' or 'denied' and the date you chose. It never leaves your device, and it is not something I can see.

This one has no opt-out, because without it the banner could not remember that you had already declined. It expires after a year, at which point you will be asked again.

Google Analytics

Off unless you accept. If you decline, or simply ignore the banner, Google is never contacted at all - the script is not loaded, so nothing is sent and no cookies are set.

If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies that let me see which pages people read, roughly where in the world visitors are, and whether anyone clicks through to book. I use it to work out which pages are worth writing and which are wasting your time.

I cannot see who you are from it. It is not linked to any medical record, any enquiry you send me, or anything you tell me in a consultation. Google's own account of what it collects is in theirprivacy policy.

The spam check on the contact form

The contact page uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people apart from automated scripts. It runs only on that page, and only because the form was being abused by bots.

It does not track you across websites and it is not used for advertising. Because it exists purely to keep the form working, it runs whether or not you accept analytics - it is part of the service you asked for rather than something extra. Cloudflare describe what it collects in theirprivacy policy.

Changing your mind

You can switch either way at any time, and declining later is as easy as accepting was.

Clearing your browser's site data for greenland-medical.com also resets it, and the banner will appear again on your next visit.

What I do not do

No advertising or remarketing cookies.
No social media tracking pixels.
No selling or sharing of visitor data.
No cookie wall - declining gives you the whole site, unchanged.
Nothing you write in the contact form is stored on this website. It is emailed to me and nowhere else.
